About Jennie Blount:

 Jennie Blount was born in San Antonio, TX but has lived most of her life in Irmo, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University from 2002-2006 where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics. In 2008 she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina in Art Education. She then began her career as the art teacher at Irmo Elementary School. She loved working there for ten years and giving back to the community where she grew up. After having her first child, she felt that in her heart she wanted to be home raising her children. She currently lives in Chapin, South Carolina with her husband John and her two girls, Baxley and Beckett.
